Profile

I am current a Senior Expert working at the European Commission. For over two decades, I've worked on the front lines of environmental monitoring at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre in Italy. Today, I channel that experience into my role leading the Knowledge Centre for Biodiversity (KCBD) of the EC where I connect vital scientific research with the policymakers who need it.

When I'm not in the office, you'll find me with a camera in nature. As an amateur wildlife photographer, I share my pictures and field insights to support conservation. I also speak publicly about sustainability, driven by a belief that awareness is the first step toward protecting our planet's incredible biodiversity.
